This is an old picture of my neighbor Griffin and his dog Ralph. The photo is yellow, blurry and blown out - pretty terrible all around. I snapped it one night and never thought about it again.
Ralph passed away last month. I made a copy of the picture and delivered to Griffin just tonight. Through tiny tears, he thanked me over and over. I cried a little, too.
Just a reminder to the photo community that a camera can be of great service to those around us. Don't underestimate what a photo could mean to someone else. Be generous with your abilities.
Oh, and shoot like hell. Document anything you can get your hands on. OK, off the soapbox for now. Love you all.
